What Do You Believe About Your Customer?

mindset Oct 15, 2026

Change your beliefs and change your outcomes.

Your beliefs, and mine, are the foundation of how we act, how we live, and how we treat people.

What do I believe about me? What do I believe about the customer sitting across from me?

The Belief Behind Every Interaction

If I believe the customer is only there for my good, for my commission, my quota, my close, the interaction turns transactional and guarded, even when the words sound right.

If I believe I'm there for the good of my customer, and the customer is there for my good too, the whole interaction changes. The questions get sharper, and I listen longer. Trust builds faster, because it isn't an act.

Belief Comes First

Most of us try to fix our actions and chase better results without touching the belief underneath them. The belief is the foundation. Change it, and the actions follow on their own.

Shift your beliefs toward something positive, growth-oriented, outcome-focused, and your actions shift with them. Our results change too.

Change your beliefs. Change your outcomes.
