Brand Matters in Sales
Oct 26, 2026Brand plays a critical role in sales.
If you and I want to stand out, we have to work on our personal brand.
What People Remember About Me
When people meet me for the first time, two things almost always come up. One is that I do daily videos on sales and personal success. The other is that I do triathlon.
Neither one happened by accident. I spent two years posting twice a day on LinkedIn, one sales tip and one motivation post, before any of it felt like a brand. I wrote about that stretch, including the time a stranger told me their sales manager watches every video I post, in a recent newsletter: Marketing Yourself.
Repetition is what made it stick. A brand is the story people remember about you, not a logo or a tagline.
Build It, Repeat It, Grow It
Pick something unique to you. Something true, something you'd be proud to repeat out loud. That's where a real brand starts.
Build it. Repeat it. Let the story grow. Keep that up long enough and you become memorable. People buy from people they remember.
Find something unique to you. Build it. Repeat it. Watch the story grow, and the business right along with it.
